Llama Trail

To do as a 5-mile loop park at the Courthouse Butte trailhead, and immediately get on the oddly named “Phone” trail to the Bell Rock Pathway (a very mellow flat dirt path also good for a chill ride with nice views) for a very short time going north to your choice of routes around “Baby Bell” rock, which is totally worth riding around, as there is some really nice slickrock play areas and drop-ins, to a couple choices marked “llama trail” which you will take to the NNE – you will dip in & out of a nice wash with a few other open rock areas and excellent views, on this review I was in a hurry, so I exited on the “Bail Trail” back to the Bell Rock Pathway, returning to “phone trail” and the TH for a nice two hour ride – you will very, very likely need help up two man-made rock ramps that EVERYONE on wheels hates, they are quite slick, and one odd wash exit that needs some more rock stacking after recent flash flood activity.
