Psycho Ridge

The Psycho Ridge Trail is a small part of the greater Galena lodge trail system making up approximately 30 miles of dedicated mountain bike trails.
The ride starts from the main parking lot of the lodge. Begin riding to the north on the old Gladiator jeep trail #189.
This is a fairly steady/scenic climb for about a mile to a fork in the trail (adaptive level 5).
At the intersection turn left which is the northeast portion of the Outhouse Loop trail.
Continue climbing along the Outhouse trail (adaptive level 7) for roughly a mile. There will be a sign “Psycho” on the left mounted on a tree which is the beginning of the trail.
The Psycho Ridge trail was built roughly two years ago. This trail is narrow tree lined single track trail.
There are root and rock obstacles that are fairly challenging requiring intermediate level biking skills.
The trail is primarily downhill and will take you 2 miles back to the lodge parking lot to complete the loop (adaptive level 8).
The lodge has a small restaurant that serves amazing food with a small eating area out on the deck.
This is a great way to wrap up the day or to refuel and go out to explore one of the other trails.
